Understanding Your Warranty

Manufacturer Warranty

Covers defects in the shingle product itself — premature cracking, granule loss, curling, or failure to perform as designed. This comes directly from GAF.

Workmanship Coverage

Covers installation errors — improper nailing, incorrect flashing, or other issues caused by the crew. Our inspector-verified process minimizes these issues before they happen.

Non-Prorated Period

During the non-prorated period (first 10-15 years depending on product), GAF covers the full cost of replacement materials. After that period, coverage is prorated based on the age of the roof.

What's NOT Covered

Warranties typically do not cover damage from extreme weather events (hurricanes, tornadoes), improper maintenance, or modifications made after installation. Normal wear and tear after the warranty period is also excluded.
